Chico, Calif. (November 7, 2007) - SHPS today announced the successful completion of its inaugural Healthcare Symposium held in early October in San Francisco, Calif. The Healthcare Symposium drew top executives and thought leaders from nearly a dozen of the nation’s largest and most prestigious health plans.

The conference, entitled “The Role of Technology in Transforming Healthcare,” included presentations and collaborative sessions, and culminated with the unveiling of Landacorp’s new member-centric medical management solution for health plans – the CareRadius suite. “The SHPS Healthcare Symposium provided information on certain employer health practices and economic results and included a demonstration of the new Landacorp CareRadius system which supports a total view of the member," said Mary Ellen Litton, manager, maxMC project management and support for Independence Blue Cross.
