Louisville, Ky. (October 18, 2004) - Landacorp, a SHPS company, is customizing its maxMC medical management software and its web-enabling companion product, e-maxMC for WellChoice, Inc., the parent company of Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Upon completion of the customization project, WellChoice will use the maxMC modules for Case Management and Care Coordination, as well as utilize Landacorp's rules-based processing functionality. WellChoice will also be using maxMC's notes templates capability, which allow for the creation of standardized clinical or non- clinical documentation records and custom criteria reviews, all while allowing information in notes to become parseable data.
