Landacorp, along with its' affiliate, Carewise Health, are wholly owned subsidiaries of SHPS, Inc., which provides a broad range of innovative health management tools, resources and services that empower consumers to make wise healthcare decisions. SHPS is a privately held organization.
With more than 30 years' expertise, Landacorp is dedicated to the advancement of healthcare collaboration through technology solutions that capture relevant information and share that information amongst providers, payers and members to improve health decisions and optimize cost. Landacorp's CareRadius suite delivers a collaborative care desktop application for health plans and healthcare delivery organizations to automate data collection and collaboration.
History
Landacorp, Inc. was founded in 1980 and incorporated in 1982. In 1984, the firm was reoriented to focus exclusively on medical management information software. In February 2000, Landacorp successfully completed its initial public offering and in October 2000, the company acquired two leading population health management companies: ProMedex and PatientCentrix.
In April 2004, Landacorp was acquired by SHPS, Inc., an integrated health and benefits management provider headquartered in Louisville, KY, and returned to a privately held corporation.
