Chico, Calif. (June 13, 2011) – On June 15-17, Landacorp will present health management software that combines the two areas of expertise essential to achieving true Collaborative Care. At America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute in San Francisco, Calif., the company will reveal how its proven technology and healthcare vision can help health plans compete and win in a new marketplace.
CareRadius Suite, the proven software that links providers, members and health plans, now features unique clinical care tools developed by Landacorp's affiliate, Carewise Health. Drawing upon dual areas of expertise, CareRadius Suite enables health plans to integrate risk management strategy, communications and health improvement.
Landacorp will demonstrate CareRadius Suite in AHIP Booth 430, and representatives will be on hand to discuss how it can reduce costs and improve health. Among the highlights, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the new patient Web portal that encourages members to take responsibility for their health and enables better health decisions.
In addition, the company has invited thought leaders in the industry to participate in one of four invitation-only sessions to explore best practices in Collaborative Care. The sessions will be hosted by Rishabh Mehrotra, president and chief executive officer of SHPS Inc., the parent company of Landacorp and Carewise Health.
"I look forward to sharing our vision of how to achieve true Collaborative Care and hearing the thoughts of industry leaders,” Mehrotra said. "Our health plan partners have contributed key insights to the development of our software, which delivers health information, analytics and evidence-based care guidelines when they are needed and in a format that makes them actionable.”
To emphasize the company's commitment to helping health plans navigate the complex issues of Collaborative Care, Landacorp will be giving away GPS devices at AHIP.
AHIP is a national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans.
